Heretix360 was entrusted with delivering the official launch event of Selangor Aero Park — right on the future grounds of the 600-acre development itself.

More than groundbreaking, this event symbolised a pivotal moment: Malaysia’s intent to position itself as a regional aerospace and logistics hub. It brought together federal and state leaders, industry partners, and the media to witness the scale of ambition and power of collaboration behind SAP @ KLIA Aeropolis

From concept to execution — visuals, event flow, digital invites, launch gimmick — Heretix360 was behind it all, from the ground up.

Approach

Staged directly on-site, the goal was to transform an open space into an immersive experience that reflected both technological ambition and local pride. Key elements included:

  • Cultural welcome: A kompang and percussion ensemble by Akademi Seni Putera Selangor greeted dignitaries, grounding the moment in heritage.
  • Launch gimmick: A custom-built 3D orb with palm-scan activation delivered a dramatic reveal of the SAP @ KLIA Aeropolis masterplan — combining showmanship with symbolism.
  • Venue design: We mapped out the space with clear zoning, directional signage, branded hoarding, and photo walls that visually expressed the scale and significance of the project.
  • Digital communications: A full EDM campaign handled invitations, QR-coded registrations, reminders, and a post-event ‘Thank You’ email featuring curated highlights.
  • Groundbreaking moment: Custom shovels and a sandpit setup offered guests a hands-on, symbolic way to mark the beginning of SAP’s development.

Impact

The launch event did more than mark the start of construction — it reinforced Malaysia’s vision of becoming a regional leader in aerospace and logistics.

Symbolic moments like the palm-activated orb and groundbreaking ceremony gave attendees a clear, emotionally resonant story of transformation. And by weaving in cultural identity, strategic messaging, and purposeful design, the event delivered a launch experience that was both memorable and meaningful.
